It’s that time of year that I love for cooking. It’s that time of year where fruits and vegetable are the freshest and tastiest. We do the vast majority of our grocery shopping at a local farmer’s market, and the weekly selection of fruits and vegetables have been exciting. Right now, local strawberries and blueberries are readily available, and they are sweet, fresh, tasty and healthy! I really like pairing the berries with various desserts and sweets, so we actually get more fruit and less sweets. This week I paired Kozy Shack Tapioca Pudding with fresh strawberries and blueberries for a simple pudding snack. It’s quick, healthy and perfect for this patriotic time of year! Plus, Kozy Shack makes its pudding with real ingredients that I feel good about feeding to my family. It was the perfect addition to help me create my Patriotic Pudding Parfait!
This is a very easy dessert to make, and it would also be a great afternoon pudding snack when you need a little something special in the middle of the afternoon blahs. All you need to do is get a large wine goblet, or a small glass bowl, and layer strawberries, Kozy Shack Tapioca pudding, and blueberries. I layered them Red (strawberries), White (tapioca pudding) and Blue (blueberries).
Each dish took just a few minutes to make, and they were really delicious. I’m wild about Tapioca pudding, and really liked Kozy Shack’s pudding with the strawberries and blueberries. It was refreshing and I felt good about what I’m eating– berries and pudding made right. Kozy Shack makes it’s Tapioca the classic way with real tapioca pearls, and simple wholesome ingredients, like real milk, and no artificial preservatives or hydrogenated oils. (Mellow Man asked me, “What exactly is a Tapioca?” and we actually had to Google it to learn more about tapioca starch.)
How do you like to eat your Tapioca Pudding? I know some people don’t like Tapioca, so Kozy Shack also has wonderful chocolate pudding and rice pudding. All three puddings are made with simple, wholesome ingredients, making them simply delicious.
