My Big One is good at sports. He’s a natural athlete. I’m not sure where he got it because I don’t like sports, and his dad isn’t particularly coordinated. He’s impressive, and I’m often in awe of his abilities. After a number of years of playing many different sports, he’s settled on basketball as his primary sport, and spends hours each week playing. Now that he’s a tween and working out so much, he’s always hungry. ALWAYS! We’re going through 3 to 4 gallons of milk each week and about 3 loaves of bread. Trying to find a filling, delicious and portable afternoon snack for him to carry to sports can be a hassle. His usual preferred snacks are coconut water and some dairy product, such as string cheese or yogurt. Right now, he’s been loving and consuming huge quantities of Dannon Danimals® Smoothies. He grabs a couple of those little bottles as we dash out the door to his practices.
